Varied racer, who also appeared in sportscars from 1987 until 1992, always in a Chevrolet Camaro. He also competed in the national classes of British and Italian Formula 3 and Renault lower-formulae series. He was also in Formula Super Vee and Formula Ford 2000. He then worked for ESPN Speedworld as a pit lane reporter before becoming an actor. In 2000, he won the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association's Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film for his role in The Whole Town is Sleeping, an independent film. As an actor, he works under the name Lee Perkins. but has done stunts too. He has also worked as a producer, director and writer. Perhaps his best known role is that of USC Coach John McKay in the movie Woodlawn.
